Once they grasped it the solution was sorted quickly. It’s the 28th so I’ve been trying for 3 days, mainly to explain it to them.
So after 4 messages to Nintendo they have refunded my online shop account, which is great. So here I am, £17 down, no FIFA online access and a huge headache on Christmas dayĬan anyone help/advise me pls!? And if anyone finds this post from EA or Nintendo then surely I can’t be the only person having this issue, loads of kids under 12 want to play a football game online!!!

No problem I’ll login as myself and buy it from there, surely I can upgrade rather than have to spend £31? No option on my Nintendo login. No problem I thought again, I’ll upgrade to a family plan (albeit I was frustrated at spending the difference between £17 and 31 for the privilege)īut no! I can’t upgrade his membership as he’s a kid and I need to login as an adult (again the error message on the switch is unhelpful, it just greys it out) He can use my login and I can supervise him….but no! The Nintendo membership is in his name/age and I can’t get online using mine. This is where my issues began….I got a non descript message saying I needed to be logged into EA sports, an hour later I realised it was because he was under 12 (why not just say that in the message?) So I purchased a £17 Nintendo online shop account for him, it should be as simple as that (mario kart works lovely) My son is 7 so his present is an online FIFa login so he can play Fut. It’s Christmas Day and here I am 3 hours later without a resolution I’m stuck in a wormhole with FIFA and my Nintendo switch.
